High Currant 12 Volt Power Supply |
|
May 24, 2012 - 12:03 PM - by Mr Whippy

I have just purchased a one person vertical lift which has a stuffed battery.
As it will always be used where 240 volts are available, I was wondering rather than getting a new battery at around $400, could I use a power supply?
I don't know the currant draw but this machine came with all its service history. Reading through this, there have been times where motor currant draw was checked and noted. One at 100 amps and the other at 110 amps.
Now here are my... [Read More]

Have been getting those dreaded indications from my rev counter that I have some serious transmission issues..
Revs up to 5000 in the morning before changing down gears, questionable when selecting reverse, (you have to go back and forth between drive and reverse)..

As the title says i want to know if you can use the LPG line to run fuel through it instead. Its a copper line i think with a green rubber over it, if that means anything.Im setting up a fuel line in my Rover SD1 because it use to run straight gas and now its running an LS1 with injection. If i can, it just means i can use some fuel line on the end of the old gas line and then connect it to the fuel tank.Instead of running a whole new line from front to rear.It will only be for track use.Any help... Locking wheel nuts - ridiculously soft metal! |
|
May 23, 2012 - 6:41 PM - by ad91on

Hiya all,
A few weeks ago I went to remove the defender's wheels for the first time since buying it to change the brake pads.
They have the locking nuts which correspond with this key.
I have the key, but the car sat for a long time before I bought it and the nuts are on ridiculously tight. I had no luck getting the lock nuts off on any of the wheels; the other nuts came off... [Read More]
