Has anyone found a simple cheap way to make it more likely that you will notice that the indicators have failed to cancel?
I thought maybe replace the light on the dash panel with a brighter LED that would be harder to ignore. I wondered if it might then be too bright at night.
Then I thought that a little buzzer like this one

I have recently been given access to a two post car hoist and I wanted to give my Disco a 'going over'. I was hoping an experienced technician could tell me the best location for the hoist arms.
I have checked the handbook and RAVE and haven't been able to find a reference. I thought the jack locating notches in the radius arms? would be the right location but when I asked a local mechanic, he said that it wouldn't be safe on a two post as you cannot use the chassis as it is... [Read More]

Picked up our new 90 on Monday. Me and wife love it despite the foibles. We had just got back from Coolangatta where I saw a white 90 with an NAS rear step/towbar which looked the business. It had a roof rack, LR front nudge bar and I think BFG ATs on it. Wanted to know if the owner is on this forum and whether he got the rear step locally or direct from Extreme4x4 in the UK who are one of the ones supplying it.
