ARN 48-206 ("Fred" to his friends)
I thought you might be interested in a few pics of the first steps in resurrecting "Fred" by an absolute amateur. Fortunately, he was a very tidy vehicle to begin with. I have described the work done to date in another thread and I'm keeping a pictorial "before and after" record of progress.

Wow, you have got a good one there. Do you mind if I ask what price range it went for?

...My perentie is such a beat up old pig, I couldn't possibly be jealous of something that's straight off the showroom floor.

Mike,
Very nice machine. Looks better than new!
Seems a pity to get it dirty... but of course you must, because that's what Land Rovers are all about.

Hi Alan
I actually did get it a tad dirty on a trip through the Watagans last week which has a few good rough side tracks. In spite of looking a bit prim and proper it wallowed in the mud very happily and performed just as you'd expect from a Landie.
cheers
Mike
