Replaced the rears today, started making a noise, no pad material left.
I rang Karcraft in Sydney, they knew what would fit and express posted overnight. installed, took 1/2 hour to fit and all is well. I got OEM and 1/2 the price inc delivery that Bursons quoted . So all is good again

The bendix book is wrong. I ordered the fronts as per the book from Burson and they turned out to be the wrong ones. I called bendix and the guy I spoke to said it was a mistake in the book and gave me the correct part number.

Gee I downloaded the PDF from their web site... Printing a book I can see it's too late, but surely a web administrator could amend one page on a PDF with the correct info

It's not only Bendix that got it wrong - EBC greenstuff have it wrong in their book according to the guys I'm trying to get new front pads from. They supplied one's for a solid rotor according to their book - and they made the same mistake - now I'm wait for the new delivery of EBC pads supposedly for vented rotors from England for them to swop over the pads.

D1 1994 (MA chassis) onward FRONT DB1176, solid OR vented.
D1 1994 (MA chassis) onward REAR DB1285, Solid only option.

D1 PRIOR to MA chassis, IE up to 1994, use DB885 front, DB1285 rear.

DO NOT use DB843 on rear, as these will not sit safely in the caliper and MAY fall on an angle after wearing to 50% thickness. These pads are for early RRC up to 1990 or so. The DB1285 can be used on all rear of RRC models however.
