look at it like this: if it keeps the vehicle on the road, modifying it can be acceptable, not everyone is interested/able to go to the extreme lengths to keep things original as well as practical

Yes it is mine. Just put Zuis disk brakes on it. A great addition. This is my every day car. It drives like a 4x4 , does 100 kms easy ,diesel with gas, power stearing and stopes in a straight line.

I thought they had stopped making them - I also would like to improve the brakes on my 101 - happy about the stopping power not the dive to the left and to the right of the road.

Can you give me an idea of the current price - Pm if you want.

    Cheers

We can't knock those that make ex military vehicles into usable comfortable rigs... This gives this truck a new lease of life! A civi 101! Brilliant! I ran a RH GS 101 in the UK as my daily drive for many years, much to my Dads disgust! The mods included a double head lighted bumper following the original lines, full hardtop properly made by me (metalworker by trade), Nissan Fd6t Diesel engine and another leaf under the front to hold it all up bolted to a Hino 6 speed box, 4.7 to 1 diffs and a Detroit Locker, oh and the deep red paint with dark silver wheels. It was brilliant, and if I still owned it I'd have got round to the 4 door conversion. Drew it all up to scale and even bought the second cab to modify. Nearly bought one out here but the 130 arrived instead! Best not mention the ex military Ser 2 SWB that's in the shed getting the Tdi and 5speed treatment, oh and shh about the new tilt, yellow paint and deep dish early 130 rims when I find some! it came to me battered, brush painted in yellow with no engine or box.. Signs there was a 6 pot Holden petrol in there!! Will post pics of both when I can find them!! Oh, and Zeus brakes... Post not pm.. We'd all be interested. Found a mob in Europe callerd Heystee Automotive who are doin a complete swivel hub kit for Series vehicles using Defer discs and calipers.. Will try and post link in right place..

Gary, although not sure on price, I have read recent threads on the 101 club forum that suggest that Zeus will only make the 101 kits up in batches of 10. basically they wait for 10 people to pay a deposit (or the full amount cant remember) then do a production run.

When I venture on there next I will see if I can find any more info for you. I might not be renewing past this year so need to try and get something out of my membership

Edit* Just went and had a look and that info was actually from 2009

I sent an email to Zeus last week asking for price and available but they have not responded.

Maybe they operate out of the same shop as the club Id be keen to hear back on what the verdict is. At present I still haven't technically ordered any brake parts.
