If the gearbox/engine moves when the handbrake is applied then the gearbox/engine mounts are shot.
From that aspect my handbrake works fine no issues. The issue is oil getting into the shoes from the rear of the transfer case and the need to regularly adjust the handbrake.
The problem you mentioned will only occur if there are other issues in the drivetrain mounts.
