I had a Haltech Interceptor installed in the P38A by Graeme Cooper's on Friday and the vehicle was dynoed to tune it up.
The results were disappointing in comparison to the results obtained by Remy, especially considering my engine has had a fair bit spent on it to improve power, i.e., HC pistons, new cam, worked heads, ported, valves de-shrouded, full balance, etc. This work was only done 15,000km ago so the engine isn't worn out.
Mine is about 20kw down on power cf. Remy's P38A. Mine is very flat in HP - not peaky at all.
Who else has had their vehicle dynoed and has results I can look at. I'm plotting Remy's and my results onto an Excel spreadsheet for comparison purposes. They can't be directly compared owing to different scaling on the graphs.
If I can get some other graphs, I'll plot them as well.
These are mine, before and after for LPG and Petrol:
