Co-incidentally, we collected a pair of these generators from Norfolk yesterday, and they are not the FW engine but the earlier SM engine, correctly identified as being once as supplied to Swift Motor Co in the 1930's before they went t*ts up.

There are a few around, ours are 1955 (dated from the meters on the control panel)

Lovely little engine, and we'd love to buy yours as well, but the small matter of 12000 miles between us makes it impractical.

Pictures (unedited 1280 X 1024) are on our website at:

The pictures are being edited now and will become part of a new section on the sets in due course.

We have some good friends in Newcastle, NSW, but unless you're that close, we'd have to pass on the engine, pity that.

regards to all,

Peter
