total time........probably 6 bloody hours, how did we finally do it after I turned up a decent shaft more grease and bash, then steering wheel puller and harmonic balance puller

Lesson 2, whenever you pull the bellhousing of a ZF, don't knock the front housing and pump off, it takes another 1.5hrs to line it up and refit it, try lining 2 sets of clutches up and a splined section, I was about to throw my first violent wobbly in near 6 years after that
