how did you go with the wiring did you make up a new loom or is that when to get to the front end?
Would make for a good tutorial if you end up using the trailer wiring.
I'll have to pull my finger out and take some of mine, although it isn;t a complete pull down, it doesn;t need it, have done the rear oil seals and a shackle bush so far, still have to grind down the surface rust. the rest of the rear end is in surprisingly good nick, now to find some lifting hooks and a ffr tailgate!

G'day john,
nowhere near the wiring stage yet, the tub was only on there to set up the crossmember. still have to hire a real welder to finish weld everything (as trusty as my little gasless mig is i don't think i'd feel comfortable towing anything with it's work ) i have a boilermaker mate who said it would be pretty easy to make up those lifting tongues. let me know if you want me to put him to the test. i'm also a fitter and turner so i could take charge of the hole and pin placement. might be worth knocking up a few if anyone else is chasing some?
cheers, bill
