Hey Ron! I would pack that up in the carton and return it for credit, the same as the previous purchaser did AFTER he put the PHILIPSHEAD SCREWDRIVER through it
I have seen that trick done before, usually from dealers, after an apprentice has damaged it, would come back as "No longer required, customer decided not to repair" so I would advise you to return said article to place of purchase
