You know what,

When it comes time for me to buy a winch, i probably would buy one of these. I know that you get what you pay for and if it turns out to be a lemon well that's the way it is. History is littered with stories of cheap equipment failing whilst in use, and history is littered with stories of expenisve equipment doing the same thing.

I would say that any winch is better than no winch. Some people (like me) have a hard time justifying 1,000 bucks or so for a winch, not to mention convincing the better half.

I read in a few other replies that blokes have purchased them, changed the grease and other bits, maybe some regular TLC and even rig up a weather cover or something, I don't know. So I reckon if you need a winch and you can't afford any other model then go ahead and get one ...... I would
