The real reason for dismantling the landy was to get a good look at the chassi rust and now came the hard part - removing the tub. This was the most annoying and time consuming part of my week with exception of maybe the seat box removal - what was LR thinking when they designed that!!!!!????

but we eventually got it off after many liberal applications of penetrant and many skinned knuckles to produce something that looked like this



And this is pretty much how it sits now... It's still running and driveable so I can put it in and out of the shed
