RUST!!!!

Once the tub was off i could get a much better picture of what would be required to get my landy back on the road....

I was prepared for he rear crossmember to be unserviceable... I am lucky in that i have a complete replacement one that is at least twice the thickness of the old one as well as sleeves to connect it to (slide over) the remaining chassi past the rear spring hanger mounts. Some bragging pics of all my rust:



All of this will be replaced, new brackets made up etc... I will be taking special care to preserve and restore the blackout convoy light to be reinstalled on the new crossmember. This next pic looks to be an old repair, there is a similar one on both sides. If I clean them up will the pass roadworthy? or should I be redoing the repairs to get rid of the rust???
