I knew that there was rust in this area of the chassi but wasn't quite expecting so much...
The passenger side isn't too bad
but i was not so lucky on the driver's side (remember click on thumbnail for bigger pic)
So yea, not looking very good. Looks like most of the drivetrain will have to be removed to service the rust around the gearbox. The front half of the chassi is pretty good, just a littlt tiny bit where the front crossmember meets the chassi under the steering box - very fixable
There is also this wing on the LHS of the chassi under the driver's side footwell. Looks like it has had it, I think i might replace this wing completly - it's weird because the passenger side oposing outrigger is rust free????
