If they are listed as single unit lots, and the auctioneer wants to put them up as one lot, he should ask the punters if this is OK. You can then express disapproval. Ask him to put them up as one lot, bids per each, successful bidder to pick one or as many as they wish to buy. If any remaining, the auctioneer should then ask if anyone else wants one or more at that price. If no takers, then he asks for new bids.
