I have recently purchased a 2001 Discovery V8 and I have a slow oil weep from the bolt holes in the rocker cover.

The rave manual shows the bolts but no washer is shown!

Does anyone know if this is the case?

I would expect a copper washer or maybe an O ring.

When I removed the bolts I found remains of what may have been a washer, or maybe it is just caked crud, or ???

I have installed O rings for the moment but want to do it right.
