no I mean enjoy them you work the 6 pot hard and it will eat the exhaust valves on pots 5 and 6. (5 is usually the worst offender)

I had a mate (ok aquaintence) who I was doing spanner twising on his rover come service time and every single service the exhuasts on 5+6 were always 5 thou out. He used to thrash the buggery out of it overdrive and all and every 8000km hed wheel over for the oil change and tune check the valves touch them up, wind in the last 2 exhuast valve adjusters to get them back on spec and off hed go

every 24000 Km off with the head replace the exhuast valves on 5/6 then 24000 Km later replace all the exhaust valves and then at about 100000 KM do all the valves.. with new head gaskets and bolts every time....

never could get him to slow down, he reckond he was getting it all on tax so didnt care. hes probabley thrown more money at that rover than I have at houses. I think by now it would be getting to the stage where the only original bits would be the chassis and body work.

Im not a fan of the 6 pot the extra grunt it gets you isnt worth the fuel consumption nor the extra maintenance.
