You may want to make sure the gauge is suitable for use with petrol. If the diaphragm in it is not fuel rated, its going to leak eventually right thru the dial and out all over the engine and looking at your gauge its a std water or air type guage!
Either that or you need to use a separator diaphragm also fuel rated
