Some pics of the new Puma with bits fitted.
Must admit that I like the fact that the new ARB bar has recovery points fitted.
I am going to fit the inside out with a bed and storage much like a simplified camper.

Looking good Miky. Whats the awning you have?
Hi Pumice.
Awning and rack are both Hannibal.
G'day miky, AWESOME looking rig mate, congrats...
Just wanted to mention that I also got the new bar fitted last week and I was told not to use those hi-lift jack points as a recovery point! I asked the question and was told a flat "No", and to use the ones back on the chassis rail! Don't want to be a kill joy but I wouldn't want you buggering your new bar either!!!
Cheers,
Povman.![]()
Interesting.
I was specifically told by ARB that the new defender bar was designed with the recovery points as shown in my last photo.
They even sold me the rated shackles to fit.
I have had a close look at the size of the steel around where the shackles fit and the bar is certainly strengthened there.
Also, I was impressed at the way the bar is fitted to the chassis.
I have no qualms about recovering from those points using a bridle.
That said... I am of course VERY interested in what others who have this new bar think.
