I use hi Lift jacks have one in the 90 and one in the 110
But i use them only with the land rover adaptor which makes them safer to use with ARB bumpers and on the rear cross member
I just use an 8 tonne Armstrong hydraulic jack I had before buying the Defender as the stock hydraulic one was cactus.
If I haven't thrown the OE one out I'll follow Dave's little rebuild tutorial so I'll have a spare to accompany the 2 tonne trolley jack (that doesn't seem to lift 2 tonne) and the highlift. You can't have too many jacks.

Hi all, I had a standard wind-up jack for my county that stripped its thread during a wheel change.Fortunately for me it jammed before the axle hit the ground so I also recommend an hydraulic under axle jack or a suitably adapted Hi Lift style. Cheers, 130man.
