    I just use an 8 tonne Armstrong hydraulic jack I had before buying the Defender as the stock hydraulic one was cactus.

    If I haven't thrown the OE one out I'll follow Dave's little rebuild tutorial so I'll have a spare to accompany the 2 tonne trolley jack (that doesn't seem to lift 2 tonne ) and the highlift. You can't have too many jacks.

    I use hi Lift jacks have one in the 90 and one in the 110

    But i use them only with the land rover adaptor which makes them safer to use with ARB bumpers and on the rear cross member
    95 300 Tdi Defender 90
    99 300 Tdi Defender 110
    92 Discovery 200tdi
    50 Series 1 80
    50 Series 1 80

    County jacks

    Hi all, I had a standard wind-up jack for my county that stripped its thread during a wheel change.Fortunately for me it jammed before the axle hit the ground so I also recommend an hydraulic under axle jack or a suitably adapted Hi Lift style. Cheers, 130man.
