I also agree it should be moved around each year, and should be used to boost the economy of a small town.
I thought of Dorrigo as there are tracks all over the eastern Dorrigo to explore, plus lots of touristy stuff and the NPs. But if its NSW next year then it should move to another state the year after. Broken Hill could certainly be good, but there must be other places.
Maybe the time of year could also change depending on the conditions. For instance, inland or north mid-year, south or west in the warmer months.
I was also wondering if a fund-raising cause might also be adopted, to focus the event somehow. Maybe pick a suitable charity with national approval.
What do you think?

Hi All
Have not been around for a while, I finally got the courage up to sell the wife's Disco. But the Landrover bug bit again and I just bought a 2a,it should arrive from Sydney today(CAN'T WAIT

). I think the get together is a great idea. I had a bit to do with the Landcruiser corroboree at Pamona last year as I was their 4WDQ association rep and it was a great success. Just an idea on a charity if you decide to go that way, what about "careflight", they do a sensational job and I know they had their funding cut back dramatically last year or maybe the "guide dogs". Just a thought?. I will post a few pictures when my new baby arrives, it should be fun having a toy again.
Cheers Ian
