It's an old channel, but we finally got it here in Oz. They've had it overseas for a while. I remember watching it in Indonesia a year ago

It's just like any other foxtel channel though. 90% rubbish and almost 100% repeats

Would be nice if Foxtel would pay to have some local content produced for some of their channels. At least NatGeo Adventure/Travel seam to encourage people to submit stuff to be broadcast.

I have seen a 4x4 is born, great series, but he has a heap of them.

A motorbike is born
A car is born
A racecar is born
A chopper is born (the flying variety)
A Jaguar is born (this is great this one, he fully restores an E-type he save from a paddock)

im sure there are more but thats all i can think of now.

He does another show that crops up on Discovery Turbo every now and then called Wreck Rescue, he follows the restoration projects of 5 different people from start to finish, 2 episodes per project. Thats also pretty good.

If you want to find another option, you can get them pretty cheap off the UK eBay site.

Just ordered the landy and the chopper series posted to Oz for less than $32 !

Pretty good.

Just finished watching the whole series of "A Car is Born"
The first show he did where he builds a Cobra replica kit car.
Epic.
