A 4x4 is born

I'm surprised this DVD hasn't been put up here yet.

Fot those who haven't heard, the DVD entails building a 100 inch LR hybrid from a near scrap Rangie and a combo of Defender and Series 3 parts and panels. Plus plenty of off-road goodies such as our locally made ARB air lockers, extreme travel suspension and the list goes on and on...

Bloody great DVD, detailed and well worth the $44 that Pitstop bookshop charge (2 DVD's come with it, it's about 4 hours long). Some of the add-ons are not to my taste but it gives you plenty of inspriation to have a crack yourself.

I bought it as I kept missing it on Discovery channel and was following it weekly when it first showed on Foxtel.

I bought mine direct from Mark Evans and got the CD of still photos of the build as well - it is well worth getting.

Does he show a picture of cleaning parts in the dish washer?
Its during this series that his wife kicks him out so he is living in the workshop.

Yes I know but worth bringing up for those who haven't seen the DVD if that's what you're implying.

I t looks good but the suspensuion kit is wankey and looks unstable to me. Could be wrong but I can't see the point in all that articulation myself, that what diff locks are for

I got them all as torrents - I did a search using eMule Plus.
