Dr Strangelove on ABC2 Saturday 8.30pm

Just a heads up: according to the on-line TV guide, Dr Strangelove or How I quit worrying and learned to love the bomb is going to be on ABC2 8.30pm-10.05pm Saturday night. ( 7.6.08)

Whilst it should be the same Australia wide, ABC2 is a digital only channel - so if you don't have digital, you'll have to visit the video store.

If you like Peter Sellers, Slim Pickens, James Earl Jones (Voice of Darth Vader) and George.C.Scott alltogether, then this is the movie for you.

and ABC2 isn't available on free to air satellite, and according to those I've canvassed at Aunty, probably never will be as too many $$
Of course you can pick it up with your Austar or Foxtel, bounced through the same bloody satellite

I looked and I looked, but all I saw was Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, Dr Strangelove was last week for us.

Cheers

Terrestrial TV sucks big time here. When we were out in the sticks we needed the satellite, and now we are near town and I can actually see the tower on top of the nearby mountain, reception is crappy to non existent anyway as the transmitter is milliwatts...

Thank my deity for the C2 sat and the www
