Top Gear Aus - Verdict?

So what do people think?

I thought it was a vast improvement.

Getting rid of Charlie was a good idea.

Getting rid of the "What were they thinking?" board was an even better idea and it was done in real style.

The interview with Skaife asked some sensible questions.

Things are looking up.

I have to admit - I was pleasantly surprised!

It was a much better show and didn't have the 'carbon copy' feel that the last series had.

Getting rid of Charlie had to make it better!

I didn't see it this week. Seems like a pity to get rid of the, 'what were they thinking'. Although I didn't like the board, I noticed that the phrase immediately worked its way into all kinds of unexpected conversations and was probably the most memorable part of the first series.

Didn't do anything for me...I ended up channeling over to 2 & 1/2 men , at least I got the odd laugh there.
I still prefer the Pommy show and their challenges.

i agree phil,
dunno why we need to copy the stig,
the bruce, the quickie, the spurt,
anything,
keep the show coming, and let's not shoot it down this time.
yep, james is a refreshing addition,
and he's a nice bloke too.

two and a half men? obviously still a child.
