the system is being hammered by a mail spammer trying to use the system to relay mail.
system may vanish from time to time as i try and overcome it

there are very specific rules and protocols that will be put in place to ensure it doesn't become a hate fest and that the info will be a reliable and as accurate as possible resource for subscribers to aulro.com

once agaim my spammer mate is back..
it has to be a problem in a vbulletin or addon script that is letting him spam
as a result i am turning a few things off as i try and track it down
email from the system may be affected including update notices etc etc
forum runner and tapatalk are off
various services will come and go as i try and find out wtf is being used...
as if i didnt have enough on my plate

had sustained and repeated dictionary attacks on the pop3 server from multiple hosts that are now in my hosts.allow file with DENY ALL next to them
then reverse dns just vanishes from the remote dns servers that i use. that is hopefully coming back slowly.. cant wait to here why

aulro is moving at snails pace...
server hp is only at 20% so i cant see it being a local issue..
i am monitoring cpu and memory usage on the server at the moment to see which container is using all the hp.
at the moment it is sitting at 20% with the web sever using 10-15% and the database server the rest.
hmmmmmmmm
