I have a box that we had made for our rodeo,

It was great

the boxes come off (but are heavy) and have a light inside.

They are just taking up room in the shed so if you are interested i can give you measurements and take more pictures.

they fitted on the rodeo well so the sides could come up but may be a bit too narrow for the 130.

The front box and dog box are 2 separate boxes and they just bolt on the tray

She's a shorty - hadn't even thought about the height issue

Mind you, I could always raise it up a little to drive the car away, then lower it a fair bit if I use extendable legs on it.

How heavy, and how much do you want for them? One issue may be working out where to attach extendable legs to lift it off the tray.

I've thought about this before. you could always make the kitchen unit lift out and down on cantilevered arms with gas struts.

I will try and work out a weight of them tonight, need to workout how

I will talk to the wife and see how much we want for them, i will supply measurments

geting them off may be a big problem unless you can construct a system like the ho har system
that looks like a great idea, It could open up the slide on camper world as you could have the joys of both a tray and a purpose built slide on insead of a tray on. The greatest advantage is not having the weight of the tray when the camper is on, meaning more water etc

These are exactly what I had envisaged!! When you say these are ours - do you mean that's what you bought?

Just had a chat with them and the price seems very reasonable also. I'm going out ot have a look soon.

Yes what we bought....maybe you should visit your in-laws soon and have a look at our legs....and yes the price was the best we could find when we built our camper

sorry to take so long to get back to you with the weight etc,

I can't work out a way to weigh them, but my wife and I can just lift it off the ute with a great deal of trouble and two men can lift it on the ute with a lot of trouble.

It would be near impossible to attach a removing device without major modifications.

IMHO it was a good thought but probably would not suit your needs as it would require enough modification that would would be easier to build something from scratch, but if you are still interested I will measure and talk about a price but I think we are thinking about $1000ish (we really have no idea what they are worth)

PS I am folowing with great interest as to what you come up with, as I think this will be a good option for us when the kids think it is not cool to sleep in the van anymore
