    dial knobs on ecu

    Hi,
Im in the process of doing an efi swap on my carby range rover. Its all connected and wired up, it doesn't run yet (has run for a minute or so a couple of times)

There are 2 dials, on either side of the ecu, what are they for?

    any other helpful hints

    thanks

What injection are you running? I have had flapper and hotwire in my Rangie and I don't recall any knobs on either ECU.

I am dead certain my flapper ECU didn't have those adjustments. Where did you get it from?

I have never seen that before but you may have just struck gold.

If you lucky it may be air fuel ratio adjustment, althought that would only account for one knob....

I have seen this before, on a RRC ex UK import with a JE engineering Dakar 4.5 conversion. The ECU was replaced along with all the system for a Haltech some years back by TRS, they kept the flapper stuff AFAIK.

It 'fine' adjusted A/F ratio and cold start fuel etc.

Went well and wasn't a problem, was changed out after a series of LPG backfires destroyed the flapper airflow meter, which was a huge I think V12 Jag item, too.

Found out, the engine is actually a 3.5L rover (car) engine.

So that may explain the dials if the injection came from that car too...no apprently the injection was on the car

Does anyone know what these dials are supposed to be on roughly or the best way to 'tune' them

At the moment there both on zero and the car runs but its a bit rough
