Yeah I did it on my 89 back in 2005
I used VDO gauges and senders looks good backlit in green red dials just like the original speedo indicators.
Wasnt hard but do use a 50mm good quality hole saw as there is metal to go through. I also fitted a JVC DVDplayer/.mp3 player with 2 amps and 8 speakers

thanks Brad, I was thinking of going 2 on the left and 2 on the right of the middle part because I thought it would be in the way. Looks like you've been able to squeeze them all in.

I've been eyeing off glowshift gauges ;

GlowShift Performance Gauges & Pods or ebay.

Only because you can choose 7 different colours, they look really nice. Some may think cheap but I like lights :P lol.

some glowshift type gauges ,I find the Fuel pressure gauge the best one and most useful !!

I just ordered 2 of the white series. How easy is it to install the fuel pressure gauge? But yes that would help indicate any fuel pump issues etc

I've got a fibreglass gauge pod that John E Davis Motorworks (now Davis Performance Landys) made for the dash top on hard dash Rangies. I can't find a pic on the 'net.

How easy to install the Fuel pressure gauge ? I think on your model there is schrader valve on the manifold (could be me D3 thinking of LOL!) Being a electronic guage, the sender unit just screws/adapts to it. On a Flapper , just tee into into the Cold start injector . Fuel pressure equals power on the old flapper system , not sure it means that much on a 14CUX system .(Closed versus open loop systems)

Many earlier 14CUX rails do not have a schrader valve.
AFAIK the rails with the regulator on the RH side and the temp sensor at the friont do not have a valve. My 92 RRC does not have one.
The later disco ones with the regulator on the LH rear may/do have one.
