    Front Wheel Arch Liners.

Hi all just a quick question to the wise ,
I was just looking through Rave and come across wheel arch liner details for the '89 RRC. Mines an '89 with an engine build date in '88 and body build date of 12/88, it has a Australian compliance stamp of 05/89. It has exposed door hinges but all the other Vogue options for '89.
I know there was a difference between early and late '89 classics, was the fitting of these liners one of them?
Is it worth while getting some from a wreckers to keep road noise down, stone and water against the inner guard, or are they more trouble than they are worth. Especially with rust which would be very understandable in countries with snow and salted roads but here maybe not so much.
My '89 has been raised 80mm and I am fitting 265 75/16 Micky T's, will these hit the liners if they were fitted?
Are there also liners for the rear? I didn't see them mentioned in Rave.

    Cheers in advance,
    Valguard

It depends on whether they kept the mud in behind or stopped it from getting in there in the first place. Got a part number?
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

Yeah Davo that's what I'm not sure about, do they seal it out or keep it in. I didn't know they existed till now so it will take more research to find a part number or even if they were in '89 RRC's sold in Aus.
Maybe someone out there may know.

MyEx 92 had liners in the front guards only, and they did a good job.

In Europe and maybe NA they had undertrays also which are a legal requirement in Germany AFAIK.

Cheers PhilipA, thought they might be ok. Driving in the wet sounds like someone has a hose pointed straight at a body panel, can be noisey. These may quieten it a bit.
Yeah I saw the undertrays there as well.
Just been browsing through microcat the undertray part number is BTR3510 and the brackets to mount to the chassis are MWC6938, the front screws straight to the bottom of the spoiler.
The guard liners are part numbers MXC6281 for the LH and MXC6282 for the RH with MXC3119 as the plastic retainers.
