    Rebuilding the RV8 oil pump

SO, I have had some bad problems with getting the oil light to go out...

I have other business to do in the nether regions of the V8 so thought it wise to rebuild the pump while I am at it.
I had a search on a few forums for what to do about wear on the face and people are doing things like rubbing it with 800grit wet and dry or not bothering. I decided to take a skim off. Ended up taking 0.15mm off for full cleanup of the face.

All new gears in the pump too. As a by the by it pays to check the fit of mating parts. Both gears needed a little touch with a fine file on the edges.

All later serpentine 3.9s, and all 4.0/4.6 engines have the oil pump concentric with the crankshaft, inside the front cover. They are totally different to the early pump and can only be swapped by changing the entire front cover assembly. The pump change did not affect the block but the crankshaft is slightly different.
