Actually not a bad $ considering. You lot need to think about what it would cost to gather and fit these bits to a vehicle. I agree that spending $50k was a bit OTT, but still as a going concern it is not all that bad a price.

This is one of the reasons I will NEVER advertise a modified vehicle for sale on the net. too many ill informed tyre kickers.

The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

As a HELPFUL reply, I would check the verification of the RWC, and engineers report. I would call Andrew at LRA (94644094) and talk to him about the vehicle. He will be straight up about any issues that may be there, and lastly get an independent inspection by SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS these vehicles, NOT the NRMA etc .

    OK. Thanks.
I'll bare that in mind next time I'm looking at a 20plus year old car.
Ooh, and yeah, mental note to self, don't kick the Tyres.
    I'm too Ill informed................
    Ah,
    Thanks Justinc, I needed that.
Ya know, twenty years ago, I had a series 3 Bluebird Wagon.I spent a fortune on it, It had an SR20DET motor, running Motec Injection, with the 200sx gearbox. I had rebuilt all the suspension, had all the Interior fixed and reupholstered. I could pull 90KM/H out of first gear. The thing was a weapon. Looked dead stock on the outside, a perfect sleeper.
You know, I'm still trying to work out why I didn't get all my money back that I'd spent on it. I just can't work that out. But thank you Justinc, I can see now, what my error was, all so long ago..............I didn't think about gathering up all the bits and putting a cost to it, then expecting someone else to pay for it all years later!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with JC, however it is a very poorly executed ad for a car that has supposedly had that much money spent on it. Appears that the majority of those 5667KMS were off-road for a "brand new" engine to look like that though.

    Buying advice

    Hi All,

Its a lesson for anyone who catches the 4WD bug and wants to build the ultimate 4WD ....If its all that it seems to be it would be a weapon playing about in the rough stuff ....but he's asking top dollar for something that's still an 89 Range Rover.

I'd buy a Disco 2 plus a nice RRC and still have some $$ left over.

    Best of both worlds

    Cheers

    Baggy
