Hi out there in Disco-land.
Just wondering if anyone has put Cooper ATR 265/60R18 tyres on their Disco with 18" rims.
The standard size is 255/60R18. Would the higher tyres profile cause any probs such as rubbing, etc?
Regards,
Mike.

Yes again,
A very common upsize to the D3. Have seen them off road on many vehicles & they fill the guards very nicely.
Cheers.
I am interested in the accuracy of the speedo if you go ahead. My vehicle with the std tyres is about 8% fast. It is only a 12mm diameter ( 1.57% ) increase . Should get it a little closer to accurate.
D4 2.7litre

Hi Mike - I've had Yokohama Geolandar AT-S 265/60R18 tyres on since about 25,000km on odometer. Now at 97,000km and when I rotated the tyres a few weeks ago - no rubbing marks anywhere.
BTW, this size is on Pajero Exceeds.
Cheers,
Rob
In a word: EXCELLENT! I liked the first set so much, bought another. I got about 55,000km out of them.
On road: quiet, handle well in wet or dry, a bit more body roll on aggressive cornering - which I sort out by increasing tyre pressure to 40 PSI. They're so much better than the standard Goodyear Wranglers - it's not funny.
Off road: great over rocks, gravel, sand, but can clog up in mud a lot easier than MTs - like any AT.
I now use the Geolandars on road and for weekends/short trips off road, and for heavy duty off road, put on a set of BF Goodrich MT KM2 in 245/70R17.
Cheers,
Rob
I have only ran the Geoloander GO12 on other 4x4's in the past andthey are really good tyres. My wife runs a set on her Hyundai Tuscon and it has done 40k and there is still a lott of life let in them.
I will shortly be putting these on my Disco3 SE in 265/60R18
Has anyone had this size on and the vehicle at acces height or in crawl mode? I would like to now if there was any issues in this mode with the bigger tyre?
Regards
H
