    18" Rims on a D4?

I recently sold the sport and bought a D4. I kept the original 18" rims with 285/60 Cooper Ltz's on thinking they will fit the D4. Went to put one on the front and found that the brake caliper just touches by a bees you no what.
Has anyone had the same problem and or made any modifications?
Or am I looking at set of compomotives?
    Cheers
    Scomac.

I think the established wisdom is that the compomotives are the only 18s that will fit.

I was under the impression that wheel spacers were illegal in every state.

I thought so too, which is why I used "legally" in my post. Brett.....

What about getting the angle grinder out and taking a millimeter off the caliper
