    Ouch! Crazy weather continues

Rainfall records tumbling in a few places as the rain and wind continues along the NSW coastline.

Ouch, I've got a friend at Newport with a Blue disco!
    Looking closer it's a D3, he has a D4 - phew.

WOW, lucky it was a D3/4, how strong is that, most other vehicles would be completely squashed.

I took the D4 to work this morning, just for that reason, just did not feel safe driving the Golf to and from work yesterday

For all intents and purposes it's completely squashed anyway, I'm not sure it's really any testament to how strong the disco is, most likely the crown of the tree is supporting the weight on the other side.
There's a few tonnes there and if it was in freefall would have flattened the disco, or any other vehicle.

Yeah but not normally this bad, mid 70s, maybe 74/75 was probably as bad, but 135k winds at Norah Head, I was living in Swansea in 74/75, which is just down the road, I don't remember it being this bad.

There's a front on shot in today's Telegraph. The LHS is crushed down to the waistline.
