D3 / D4 / RRS D3 / D4 zone is the place for all that specialist D3 / D4 info (and the RRS stuff even though they don't like to think of it as a disco).

Great Idea having our own section. With still relatively few D3 owners compared to D1,D2,Defender and Series owners, some of our D3 posts could get lost in the huge volume of general LR conversation. Will still use the UK site as well, but this might be better for sharing ideas for the way we do things here in OZ.

My D3 was a May '05 Build, Delivered July '05. Suffered from most of the early problems, over 23 trips back to the dealer for warranty claims, but all fixed and been going well for some time now.
Mine was January 05, delivered April 05. S TdV6 with air suspension.Only two problems so far The coolant bottle because of false "low coolant" msgs and the cable behind the steering wheel because of intermittent then solid SRS indicator on the instrument panel. Did the Simpson last year and the Birdsville races(not) recently. Just going for 48k service.

Mines a June 05 build, delivered in Aug 05.

Hi All,
As some of you may have already seen from my post to a Marketplace thread, I am now the "very" proud owner of a 2005 D3 S TDV6 manual.

The down side is that I have bought it as a consequence of the death of someone who appears to have been a passionate LR man (Rod Wood).

Rod's wife, Ginny, is a lovely lady & I'm sorry that I didn't get to meet Rod.

Best Wishes,
Peter
PS: MANY questions to come!

I have moved back to Brisbane from CQ. Might to get catch up with other D3 owners. Caught up with a few Disco3 forum members at Cooma.

Hi Drivesafe - here I am, as suggested - now I can see why you wear pink fluffy slippers (enhances the chance of getting sympathy?) .....do you use the Disco to tow the Rangie...?

For anyone else, I'm another new arrival, having recently (Feb) taken delivery of my new baby but have been principally "residing" at Disco3.co.uk.

Also just back from the UK where had the pleasure of doing 2 Landrover training courses at Eastnor (Herefordshire) and a factory visit (with more driving) - recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.

Am currently canvassing interest in a Disco 3 social group (tho from interest so far might need to widen that to include the current generation of "Electronic Landrovers") and shall put details in a dedicated posting.

All the best for now,

Andy

Hi All

New to the forum and a new D3 owner (LR first timer) 08 SE Petrol.

I found this site by accident really as I was goggling for accessories, I'm glad I did though as it has pointed me in the right direction twice

Many thanks

Cheers

Paul
