Authorised Service Agents
Can anyone tell if there are any authorised service agents in Brisbane for LR?
And are they allowed to do warranty work? The delivery Dealer Service Dept clearly cant listen to a customer request. They had some very simple tasks to do before delivery which they stuffed up. and on rectification visit they still stuffed it up. At this point I have given up on them and will fix the issue my self. So now the search is on for competent place to get the car serviced.

All "LR Dealers" are authourised repairers, they wil & have to carry out warranty work at a customers request.You cannot get warranty work done at a NON LR Dealer workshop as they cannot claim the warranty. Based on my 2 weeks of ownership I have grave concerns about the competency of the selling dealer service department.
I thought I did read that some LR specialists were authorised to do warranty work. That aside are there any good independent LR specialists in Brisbane?

The franchise manager for LR Aus is authorising other service centres who are not dealers. Don't know how far this process has got but I doubt thy would authorise any in major centres where thetere is a dealership. It will probably be on a distance from dealers basis.

I have heard good things about these guys:
mrautomotive - Home We haven't tried them yet, but I've been told they are authorised to service LR's. You might want to ring them to double check that though. If you do take it there, I'd be interested to hear what you thought of them. Regards

LR Australia in a brilliant flash of wisdom back around 2003 removed all authorised service agents that weren't dealers and cut back on the number of dealers.
It is possible to get warranty work done by a reputable workshop but this has to be approved through a dealership and (I think) LR AUstralia. I know this can be done as I had a couple of recalls on my D2a done in town and a friend had some warranty work on his Puma last year all by the local Toyota/Nissan dealer. This may be a special case because I am in an extremely remote location. I also know it wasn't straight forward for my friend to organise the work on his Puma. So I guess I'm saying its possible but note always achievable.
