| D3 / D4 / RRS D3 / D4 zone is the place for all that specialist D3 / D4 info (and the RRS stuff even though they don't like to think of it as a disco). |

There was talk in a few other threads about breakers, I reckon this would be the sort of item that would survive a smash and be easily availible from a breakers yard...... |

Allan,
I have one you can have for free for pick-up in Perth. It's less than a year old (replaced on warranty) and is the only surviving part from my D3 which was stolen and burned out. My D4 on order will come with a new one (so says the salesman). Just send me a PM for details if interested. You'll have to get it to Victoria. |

As far as I know, the police haven't officially apprehended the b@ggers who stole my D3, but they have, "a pretty good idea". I've just put pictures of the burnt D3 in my album. Looking at them I can't tell if it was left or right hand drive. Oddly enough, the things that can still be identified are the sub-woofer, MitchHitch, right-hand rock sliders, and the HitchLock (but I suspect the key inside the Hitchlock was "fried"). Now trying to patiently wait another 2 months for the 3.0 D4's arrival
Wouldn't it be wonderful if, say, a D5 could be programmed to only go 20km/hr with horn honking, etc (after 30 secs so the scum would think they were home free) if it is driven off without a specific finger can (or wrong finger used)?
