    D3 workshop manual

    Hi Forumites,
Recently purchased a D3 S TDV6 and I'm trying to track down a workshop manual of some description. Any format will do, book, .pdf, CD anything will do. I can't find one anywhere, anybody got any ideas. Looking at servicing, lifting and a bull bar, nothing to drastic.
Also how do owners with a similar model go fitting drawers? The bolt to let the spare down is where the drawers would go, I'm sure this has been sorted in the past, I just couldn't find any threads that gave me the right answers.
    Thanks in anticipation.

As far as I know, GTR is the only place at the moment you'll find a manual.

I've known a few people to fit drawers (and I borrowed a set once), but all of them have managed to mount the spare tyre on the back bumper - thus solving the bolt access problem. No one wants to try and drop a spare, then suck back up into the void a smushed flat tyre while lying in the middle of an ant pile.

The trick with draws and the spare is to mount a socket with an extension bar permanently. You will need a hole in the draws to allow the long extension to reach up to the top of the drawer so you can use a ratchet to wind it down/up.

There is a page with pics on DISCO3.CO.UK - Dedicated to Discovery 3 and LR3 Owners and Enthusiasts somewhere.

    Cheers, Steve

    Good going Marty.
I don't know what sort of access the 'public' have but I use it every day for work & find it quite good.
The DDW (warranty) section is a right pain though .

One downside is that UK tend to do their upgrades at their night time which often means it's down in our day time .
it doesn't happen too often though.

As Dullbird found when she was trying to use it - her paid 24 hour access was severely disrupted.

A lot of the stuff I wanted for the P38A was in PDF format but the latest workshop manual and ETM aren't. They are designed for on-line browsing, not downloading for later use..
