Recovery point pics

I'm looking at recovery points for the front of my D1 with an ARB winch bar.

Has anyone got pics of the troutbeck sales or 4x4intelligence ones fitted with a winch bar so I can get an idea of how they look?

What are people's opinions on them?

Cheers

G'Day,

I run the 4x4i kit. Once fitted it should perform the job well.
Have a look here.

I'll see how low the bullbar sits compared to the pics in your post tonight.

I looked for pics but didn't have any luck!

Thank you very much.

I must have a look at theirs, the one behind my alloy bar doesn't look strong enough for recoveries.

Recovery Point Fitted With Pics

Decided to go with the Troutbeck Sales recovery points, Len was great to deal with.

I painted the recovery points red and the inner plates black before fitting them with 1/2" dia x 5 1/2" long grade 8.8 bolts.

Hopefully there are a few pictures below:

Using the eye's in the bullbar opens a huge can of worms, some say yes, others say no.

ARB won't commit to anything, and if it's not in writing they didn't say it...

They may be ok if you are using a balancing strap between the two points but i wouldnt recover off a single eyelet, look how thin the metal is there.

i've used them for light recoveries which i have no issue with. But then again they were really light recoveries, just the slightest tug.

I have seen others that look like they've been more heavily used and the holes are all torn up...
