Radiator, how much?

Ok, sounds like the radiator in my disco is a bit sand and in need of attention.

I'll price a recore etc locally, but I wanted to see what they were worth from where.

It's a late 1993 200TDI manual.

Have tried taking it to a radiator place and get it Rodded. This is where they remove the tanks and push rods through the channels and flush it out then re solder the tanks. I know lots of people with Discos around this age needing it done. I got mine done for $80 but can go anywhere up to $150. Mine has been fine since. I have seen new one on ebay for around the $600 make new. I think a recore would be around $400 from memory.
Hope this is helpful.

Smile

I have just recently replaced the radiator in the V8 County last weekend and paid $330 form Britpart.

It was a straight fit and the County is as cool as a cucumber.

Best price I could find was $600 at mates rates, otherwise $700 - $1100
For my V8.
I asked on this site and phoned everyone I could, this was the best I could do.

V8's Rads are much larger than Tdi's... so hopefully cheaper too.
