    Suffix K or later gearbox

    Hi everyone,
I want to look at putting a R380 gearbox in to my Isuzu 110.
I'm told a suffix K or later is stronger. Can anyone tell me what year that might be?.Or did it come with the series 2 & I'm in the wrong forum ?
    Thanks,
    David

    relevant info here.

bell housing and gear selector will be things to keep in mind as they differ between discos and defenders and TDi's and V8s. And TD5 boxes are different again, different input shaft

Suffix K was 1998 'WA' vin vehicles. Ideally suffix 'L' which is Td5 1999 era is the strongest.

To avoid disassembly and changing shift rails and selector forks etc you should look for a Defender example.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
