    Mud flaps

What's the point of me buying another set when I've just lost another one somewhere along Butcher Track? I reckon I've bought half a dozen pairs now. What do you do? Take them off before off-roading?

Is it illegal not to have mud flaps in Victoria?

Yeah John they are an RWC item, maybe attach them with wing nuts so they are easy to remove.

Why not attach them with rings instead of bolting them on, that way they can swing freely without bending or getting sliced off. Not sure if it will work but might be an idea.

Probably been 8 years since mine had mud flaps. Yet to get done for it.

Not saying I wont one day, but being such a trivial item I suspect the cops don't worry too much.

Any one here know of any one being done for this?

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I shortened mine by about 80mm. Now they don't bend back & get caught by the wheel.

I thought about shortening them but don't trust that I won't break them. There's no question they get hammering back there. I think I'll look into the wing nut idea, either that or the Dave idea
