Shorty's Disco

This is my 97 S1 Discovery. Has the V8 and auto which not only goes well but sounds the part.

I got it as a stocker but has since had the following bits added for some bush work

EFS 50mm lift kit
Airflow snorkel
Lightforce 240 Blitz's
T Max 9500lb winch
TJM bull bar
Uniden detachable face UHF CB
Cooper STT's in 245/75/16

the wish list has twin True Tracs and a body lift on it as well as a cargo barrier and rear storage system.

here's a pic from the lawn...yes it will get used in anger

Uumm, mine's a slightly older model. Suspension is a bit saggy and the top end could probably do with a rebuild.

Functionally though, very similar.

Wanna swap???

Cheers

Very nice shorty. I wish I had seen that before I bought my new set of tyres last week. I bought 245/70 16s as I was worried about the catching.

yeah BruceT, they just catch the bottom of the rear guards. I will have to give it a slight chop so they miss in future. Its not a big thing, I have been told how much to cut off and shown a guard that has been done and you wouldnt know unless someone told you. I will post some pics when I do it
