    Dash Light Dimmer Controls

I have seen a few of these on ebay recently.
    I didn't know the D2 had a dimmer.
Where is it mounted? Can you retro fit?
It took me a year before I realised there wasn't one.
    Pic's anyone!

Its "plug and "play" as far as I know.

All the NAS and JAP spec vehicles have it, but they did not fit it to most other markets, dunno why...........

it lives in the little square "cut out" just below the fog light switches, where the green switch is below.

D2's have auto dimming dash lights. Theres a sensor that picks up the amount of out side light and set the dash light brightness. Read about it in the rave.

    Hey m8

Bottom one is for the roof rack lights, and the next one up enables the spots on the ARB, either on or not with high beam.

Well I know I saw it some where. Just can't find it tonight. But ever wondered what that round thing in the middle of the dash, up near the glass is ?
    A light sensor.

When serching the Rave. Look under, "electrical Library", in the connector section.C0790.

The dimming switch is NOT an option for the Aus market neither is the auto dimming. These options are for Japan. Even the wiring is not in either loom for the Aus market. If you do want to fit it you will need to decipher the wiring manual & run you own wires & splice into various looms.
Can be done just time consuming.
