    turbo banjo bolt weeping

Anyone had to deal with this?

This has only been an issue since some recent work was done on the engine (head gasket)

I'm inclined to simply replace the copper washers and re-torque - am i on the right track.......

Yes, you are on the right track. I'd bet the old washers were reused.

You need to anneal the washers

    undo banjo bolt
    take copper washers out
hold them in a gas flame until red & drop them in cold water.

(or put them on a brick & hit them with a gas torch then dip in water)

replace & will be as good as new

At around $0.65 inc gst each for new ones I'm not sure I'd be bothering reusing unless they were in perfect condition.

    Part# is ADU6847L

Also looks like there is only one washer on the bottom of the banjo bolt - if so, there should be one top and bottom. I nearly made that mistake when reassembling.

looks like they have been prev fitted without annealing, AND overtightened.

If you ordering new washers I'g get a new Banjo bolt too, that are not that strong.

re-annealing for now will be ok to use but dont overtighten the bolt.
