    SLS Repair kit ?

    Anyone know where I can buy 2-3m of SLS airline (size? metric/imperial?), a couple of joiners and a couple is schrader valve to airline ends ....

    ... so I can carry an emergency inflation/repair kit.

    It is 4mm and you can get it and all fittings from Pirtek or Enzed

    Great! Turns out one of my suppliers can do this ....

    2 x 1/8" BSPM ==>> Schrader valve
    2 x Quick Fit 4mm tube x 1/8" BSPF
    1 x 20m coil 4mm x 2.7mm Nylon tube (270psi)
    2 x Quick Fit Tube Union (joiners) - 4mm x 4mm

    My cost before delivery is approx' $30 + gst for this lot.

    Turbopsi ... do you want me to add a duplicate of the fittings for you ? ... Can split down the 20m roll of tube I think !

    Anyone else want to jump on board ?

    Such kind of "kit" is very usefull and if you have it it's good to have a tyre puncture repair foam spray in the boot as well cos in case of a leaking bag the compressor will exceed it's duty cycle at a time and if the management doesnt stop it in due time it can burn out and you end up un bump stops... in that case you can remove the compressor relay to protect it, fit the emergency kit and use the spray for the leaking bag... it got me home once from the middle of nowhere this way... bought new bags and let the "repaired" one in situ just for test to see how much it can bear... got tired to drive it without self levelling after a week or so and replaced the bags in the end

    Good idea sierrafery! I've done the bump stops thing and it's not pleasant. Compressor exceeds it's duty cycle and the ECU shuts it down ... I've heard of a few folks who have had great success with the tyre slim

    A spare air spring (or 2 if your traveling distance), a couple of spare air spring top retainer clips, this kit and a compressor and I reckon your pretty well covered ... failed compressor, failed air spring/s, or a damaged air line.

    I've ordered enough to do 5x sets. 3x are already spoken for. 2x sets still available if anyone wants one.
