    Arrow Ashcroft HD CV's - rebuild/rework/servicing

Attached are the instructions that I received from Dave Ashcroft for 'servicing' the Ashcroft HD CVs. I contacted them recently following my drivers side starting to click. I thought others may be interested in case they ever require, or to note that they are rebuildable unlike most other things these days which seem to be throw away and replace!

Another item on my to-do list now...

Recommended grease Morris Lubricants K48 Moly Grease < MORRIS LUBRICANTS :: K48 MOLY GREASE - GREASES > but I think in Australia the following two are more common and reasonable equivalents:

Castrol SPHEEROL LMM < SPHEEROL LMM | Castrol Australia | Grease - Car Products | Castrol Australia | Car - Motor Oil & Lubricants | Castrol Australia | Products | Castrol Australia | Castrol - Motor Oil, Engine Oil, Synthetic Oil, Diesel Engine Oil, Transmission Fluid and >
Penrite MOLYGREASE EP 3% Print this page Email page Save as PDF < MOLYGREASE EP 3% >

I'm sure that there are others as well...

About three years old so 30,000 to 40,000km I would estimate. I'm surprised and disappointed that the drivers side started clicking, but it may be due to the diff oil leaking saga and having to remove it and refit a few times over.

I've been running Ashcroft CVs in oil for 4 years and 50,000+ kms. No noise or other issues.
