Hi, new to the forum - just uploaded a photo to anothe rpost but thought I'd add it here as well.

This was my D2 Commercial not long after I bought it. In totally standard form, even down to the road tyres. I've made some changes now though, including adding quite a few dents and scratches and removing quite a lot of the bumper front and rear. Oh, and the wheels and tyres have been changed for 16" steels with Traction Tracks. I shall post some pics of it's current state later

Cannon, awesome D2 there. Looks very capable!

Unlike my Avatar (which will remain for posterity) the bottom image here is what the '99 ES D2 has become now.
I have done just enough to suit my uses and other than front recovery points, this will be where I'll remain. I have many (many many) other mods pencilled on the list but its a balancing act as you all know.

Original: (Jan 2008)

Now: (March 2010)

Outside:
2" lift
General Grabber AT2 Tyres
CDL reinstated
Greasable Front Propshaft
Lock Nuts abandoned
Land Rover RTC9539AC Roof Rack

Inside:
Mini HP running OziExplorer with BU353 GPS mag base puck
3 Types of Tent (from swag to 8 person)
2 x 2W Hand Held UHF Radios (GME)

Hi all. 02 D2 5 Speed V8 - I bought it new in 02 and love it. 155,000k. LR ladder, 3 bar Rhino HD rack and 1800 long basket, TJM winch bar, Icom UHF, LPG with original petrol tanks in situ, Haman Reece tow hitch, 4x4 intelligence HD front recovery points, Dobinson Shocks, HD steering dampener, Maxis Bravo 751 ATs 245/75/16. About to fit up Centre Diff Lock, but never needed it so far - more for safety.

Cheers

PS. I dont know how to make it appear in the post at full size without opening...if a mod can do it for me I would be grateful....Cheers!

I am on my 4th Land Rover, 5th 4x4, and they do get used to it....... Safari Barbie (SWMBO) treats Audrey (my current Land Rover) like she is some sort of mistress........

Some great pics, especially of some of the front bars, sooo jealous of those

Here's a pic of mine now, in a not so "just bought it" state. The 16" steels suit it much better than the 18" alloys I think Pics taken during our monthly club trial. I'm running a stock D2 in it, which surprises at times (and not at others!)

You might notice the front bumper has been trimmed, a lot, also. This made a massive improvement to teh off-road ability and cost nothing
