    Rear-side and alpine window seals

    Hi all
Has anyone had to have their rear cargo area side window and alpine window seals replaced?

The little rubber "skirt" between the glass and the bodywork is fretted on mine and the other week I noticed a water stain on the interior trim at the top and in front of one of the side bins.

Now given the D2's flush glass, I'm loathe to bodge it up with some windscreen sealant and would like to get it done properly, but...

One place I rang, I spent ten minutes trying to explain to him what an Alpine window was (he had no idea - "no I'm not familiar with a Discovery") so after all that he came up with $680 which sounds a bit extreme to me, so I'm wondering if in vain he guessed it?

From his response I'm assuming that, unlike the D1 seals, not a lot of D2 get done.

Any ideas? And if anyone in Perth has done it, all the better.
    Cheers
    Mike

The D2 alpine windows are bonded in place so the little finisher seal has no bearing on sealing the window itself.

I assume the same would be the case for the side windows too.
